Welcome to the first dispatch of the season—hooray! Whether you are a returning chorister for this season, a member moving up from Recital Choir, or a singer who is new to VCC—WELCOME!
I hope you've had a wonderful and restful summer.
And as you can see, we're now on Singing Space! I will endeavour to keep ALL CONCERT CHOIR EMAILS updated here, for your ease of organization. This is where all of your music practice tracks will live as well! I hope this new system will be easier to use. Attached are our start of year forms: medical, fundraising, media releases, attendance policy, and of course key dates.
Please sign and return these forms to me via email as a digital return, or a hard copy at first rehearsal—September 6th, at St. George's Church (3909 St. George's Lane) from 4-6pm for Concert Choir!
If you have not met me yet, I will be in the foyer of the church receiving forms and taking attendance. Please check in with me at your arrival!
The following Tuesday, Sept 10th, we will be upstairs at the Wingate Studio on the second floor of Pacific Opera Victoria. (Street parking and some parking available in the St. John's church lot off of Mason St.)

Please take a look at the Key Dates and compare against your family calendar. Musicals? Medical? Sports? Family trips? School trips?
Please review the attendance form: last regular rehearsals before dress rehearsals are mandatory for performances.
We have a very full season packed with exciting opportunities, including our Signature Concert series, The Messiah with the Victoria Symphony, and our performance in Pacific Opera Victoria's The Little Prince in February—not to mention a workshop/exchange with new friends The Seattle Childrens' Chorus.
We are SO excited for this season, and can't wait to see you all very soon!
