Hi lovely CC members and families,
Thanks for coming out tonight! We had another night of great attendance to follow up on Tuesday (when we had 100% attendance, no latecomers, and no one forgetting their music!). Much appreciated.
Messiah Listening:
We have new Messiah movements to learn this year!
This Singing Space page has been updated with all of the movements that we are singing in the December concerts, as well as with the Bass Chord Perfect playlist.
Upcoming in October: AGM and Halloween:
AGM-October 22nd
The Victoria Children's Choir will host its Annual General Meeting via Zoom on the evening of October 22. As members, each family is invited to attend to learn about the state of the nonprofit and hear from our friendly Board of Directors. A Zoom link will be sent out closer to the date!
Halloween Rehearsal: Oct 31: 4:00PM-5:30PM
Due to a recent Leap Year, we have Halloween on a rehearsal night again this year!
You are cordially invited to wear your costume (costume contest will happen at the end of rehearsal), and to stop by the Choir Manager desk for some trick or treat candy :)
We recognize that Halloween comes on a Friday night only once every several years.
To that end, and to promote both good rehearsal and good balance, we will have a shortened rehearsal from 4pm-5:30pm at St. George's.
Please enjoy your festivities, trick or treating, and handing out candy safely and spookily!
P.S. I have just a few tickets left for The Turn of the Screw! I will be submitting the guest list to POV next week, so reply to the email if your singer would like one and you haven't done so already.
