It was wonderful to see you all back at rehearsal on Tuesday! Following is information about a January Day Camp, homework for Friday, and an update about the Singing Space.
Day Camp January 23rd
We are planning another day camp to help our singers get a strong start with their new repertoire and to keep building the relationships that are so important for our choir! Our plan is for Saturday January 23rd, and we'll be able to confirm that date by Friday, so please try to keep that Saturday available.
Homework:
- Go over the 2 African pieces we started in rehearsal. Remember to move! (hill-foot)
- Listen to this recording of Stabat Mater with your scores. Use a pencil to mark the places with ornamentation in song #1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P65oBJBdSXM
Singing Space
Homework will now be posted after every rehearsal on the Singing Space, so if you forget what you've been asked to go over, head over to the Singing Space, select Concert Choir and you should be able to see updates under the heading "practicing". Information sent out in emails will also be posted on the Singing Space, so if you're having trouble finding a particular update among the information sent out, it should be much easier to find on the site.
