concert protocol and rehearsal changes

Dear Prelude Choir families,

We have had a few questions about safety protocols at the Alix Goolden Hall for our December concert so we wanted to provide you with an update.

All Prelude choristers will be wearing masks at all times, including while they are singing. Alix Goolden does permit unmasked performances, but because our Prelude Choir is quite large, and the children are too young to be vaccinated, we have decided they will wear masks while singing.

The children will be in a green room space when they are not performing, along with our Prelude choir staff. They will not be mixing with our other choirs.

All audience members 12+ are required by the venue to show proof of full vaccination.

We are very excited to finally be doing an in-person concert again, and will continue to take every precaution to keep our choristers and their families safe.

In addition, we need to have both Prelude choirs rehearse together before the concert, so Nov 16, 23, 30th rehearsals will run from 4:45pm-6:00pm in the Sanctuary, for both groups.

I'll send out a reminder closer to the date.
