CAmp waivers, Messiahs, Musical results

Hi there CC singers and families! 

Thanks for joining us on this misty Tuesday. We looked at our new pieces in collaboration with the Bach Children's Choir for the Podium concert here in May, and got new pieces for the Ontario Treble Choir Festival. 

Camp Waivers: 

If I haven't received a camp waiver form from you, please email it to me. We have almost all of them, so thank you for your prompt attention!

All students need a camp waiver to participate this weekend. If there are any urgent matters while we are at camp, please text me at the number below, as I will be away from my laptop for much of the day.

We Need 1-2 Chaperones for Camp this Weekend:

We had some changes in schedule for the chaperones who signed up, and I am now looking for 1-2 chaperones for camp this weekend (we could squeak by with one, as Kim is here for most of the weekend). Let me know if you can come help!

Messiah Scores:

Just checking in to make sure there are no more orange Messiah scores kicking around at home! Please turn them in if they're still lurking in your singer's music folder.

Tour: Going to a Musical: 

By hand poll of the choristers going to Toronto today, 100% of our cohort wants to go to a Broadway show in Toronto, and 100% of them want to go to Shucked! The Musical. We will proceed with investigating group sales for the show. Again, going to a Broadway show is totally optional, and an additional, add-on cost of approximately $110 (hopefully slightly less with group discounts) per student. Please email if you'd like your child to not attend.

January 16: Drop off at St. George's Friday at 1:10PM 

Pickup in Langford at 2:00PM (RSVP) 

January 17: Camp fun!

January 18: Camp, then showcase (arrive 2:30PM at Camp Pringle for showcase, then pickup). There is no bus back from camp.
